Featuring state-of-the-art technology, and weighing in at only 2,2 kg, its the lightest small-bore rifle in the CZ 457 series and shoots as accurately as the highly regarded Varmint MTR model. A number of new benefits are also waiting to be discovered.

The standout feature of the CZ 457 Carbon .22 LR calibre model is its 525 mm (20) composite barrel with match chamber that combines the best properties of steel and carbon fibre. The many benefits of this steel-carbon barrel include a radical reduction in weight without sacrificing extreme accuracy, efficient dissipation of heat during prolonged firing sessions, and reduced vibrations after each shot.

After adding in the tried-and-true polymer stock with soft-touch finish, and highly durable, anti-corrosive surface treatment of metal components, youre perfectly equipped for both long hunting expeditions and recreational/competitive shooting sports.

The CZ 457 series offers them exceptional shooting comfort in the form of easy, fast and reliable operation, even with a fitted aiming binoculars. For maximum safety, it is equipped with a positive safety device on the right side of the bed, a warning device and a separate pull-out control. A new adjustable trigger mechanism with low resistance and excellent running, significantly reduced striker weight and a new type of bedding contribute to a significant improvement in accuracy. Literally a revolutionary novelty is the extremely durable anti-corrosion surface treatment of metal parts, which currently has no competition.

The new CZ 457 model series could not be complete without the popular Varmint model with a varnished American style stock and a heavy 20″ barrel. It is an ideal rifle for precise sport shooting, as well as hunting at medium to longer distances. There is a 11mm milled groove on the top of the receiver for attachment of a riflescope.
